Jair Bolsonaro on coronavirus
Jair Bolsonaro is the right-wing president of Brazil as of now (2020-03-30).
Fox News reported that his son Eduardo said that Jair Bolsonaro tested positive for coronavirus on 2020-03-13. After the story aired, Eduardo denied it. Bolsonaro has had two more tests but refused to make the results public.
On 03-15, he called on his supporters to take to the streets to shut down Congress and the Supreme Court. He went out into the crowd to shake hands and high five.
He was under quarantine after returning from the US, and 25 members of his entourage have been infected with coronavirus.
He said that quarantines were "a thing for cowards" and so encouraged an early return to work and school. On 03-27, he launched a campaign called "Brazil can't stop." The official in charge of it has coronavirus.
China is Brazil's largest trading partner. It has provided masks, medical uniforms, govels, and respirators. Eduardo Bolsonaro decided to call coronavirus "the Chinese virus" as Trump has.
